Jemma McKenzie-Brown: No HSM4

High School Musical 3 star Jemma McKenzie-Brown will not be in the next installment of the franchise so is going back to auditioning. The actress, 14, who played Tiara Gold in the third film in the hit series starring Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, is now rejoining the ranks of many young hopefuls on the auditions circuit, but is grateful to have the Disney smash under her belt.
She said: "I think it's been decided they're going for a whole new route with it which is a shame but I had a really good time doing the third one." She added: "I'm back to auditioning and have got some cool opportunities and good scripts so hope something comes up!
"When I'm 16 and have left school I can start concentrating on other stuff and in ten years time I'll hopefully have a film or two under my belt but I love theatre too so that would be fun."

Jemma dances to "Circus"

HSM3’s Jemma McKenzie-Brown pulls her leg up high as she and pal Peaches Williams re-enact the dance to Britney Spears’s “Circus.”
The 14-year-old actress, who is on her way to Italy to premiere the HSM3 DVD, introduces the video with a bright smile. She says, “Hello, this is Jemma with Peaches. We have a dance for you - ‘Circus!’”
Disney recently announced the plans for High School Musical 4. No word yet as to whether Jemma will be reprising her role as Tiara Gold.

Forty-nine songs from eligible movies are contending for three to five Oscar nominations in the Original Song category, it was announced in Beverly Hills.
Eleven of the possible nominees come from the "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" soundtrack, including "A Night to Remember," "Can I Have This Dance," "Walk Away," "Now or Never," "Scream," "Right Here Right Now," "High School Musical," "The Boys Are Back," "Just Getting Started," "Just Wanna Be with You" and "I Want It All."

Everyone's favorite East High-ers -- Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu, and Monique Coleman -- are finally bringing their blockbuster hit, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, to DVD and Blu-ray!
The extended DVD edition is jam-packed with bonus features including: cast goodbyes, a sing-along version, bloopers, deleted scenes, a digital copy and two special features called "It's All in the Dress" and "Night of Nights."
HSM3 hits shelves on February 17th, 2009. Be sure to pick up your own copy!
